Nigeria

Here I sit with my heart heavy for my country.  Nigeria! Nigeria! what is wrong with our land? Bloodshed everywhere.  This administration is fraught with so much blood. Plane crashes, auto accidents, kidnap gone wrong and the current cancer eating us up - the boko haram menace. We are yet to recover from the 1st Nyanya bomb blast and the abducted secondary school girls, yet we have been dealt with another blast.  Where is safe in this country, what is the way forward?
One aint sure if they will return home in one piece, if policemen dont have accidental discharge, it might be ritualists lurking round or boko haram targeting the journey home. I do not know anymore if the president is incompetent or unfeeling but I do know that there is a deep rooted spiritual attack on my dear beloved country. My bible tells me faith without works is dead, all I hear is pray and pray but I believe we all should come together and get rid of the ills prevailing in our society. There is little to nothing thst works; healthcare, education,  inshort nothing really works anymore.
Hear our cries Lord and hearken to our prayers.  May God heal and cleanse our Land in Jesus name.  Amen

Weight loss

Ever tried losing weight? It is some serious commitment and work. I am here and want to lose a minimum of 8kg and maximum of 15kg and I do not want to go on any diet. Asides the fact that they are expensive, they are also restrictive. I love my chocolate biscuits, mousses and anything sweet. So confused on what to do and I do not want to gain anymore weight. Considering the fact that I'm also using an implant, the weight won't just budge. Anyone out there with ideas on how to lose weight and wont cost money. I'm open to all suggestions.

awesomeness of God

Ever sat to wonder about the awesomeness of God, his magnificence and his splendour.  I am constantly in awe of my great and mighty God. He makes ways where there seems to be none, he is the unchangeable changer. I have witnessed his love and mercies a million times over and I am still a beneficiary of his love. Would talk more on different ways I have seen God show up for me time and again in later posts. For now, sit and ponder on his love.Count your blessings and you will be amazed at his unending love.

Wow, my first attempt at blogging. Actually looking for a new hobby, something to keep me preoccupied asides being a wife, mother and friend. A form of release from being in a town that really has very little working great. In all, I thank God for being alive and for all his blessings.
